Information
Kayla Howard is a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) who brings a compassionate, human-centered approach to her work, believing in showing up as a person first and a therapist second to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. She values authenticity, empathy, and connection, while also taking a direct, honest approach that gently challenges clients and encourages accountability as an essential part of growth and healing. Kayla specializes in working with eating disorders—including anorexia, orthorexia, bulimia, and binge eating—as well as body dysmorphia and body image concerns, and she is passionate about helping clients build a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
She also works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, supporting them in developing insight, resilience, and effective coping strategies. In addition, she supports clients navigating early adulthood transitions, personality disorders, and experiences of domestic violence. Using a client-centered and evidence-informed approach, Kayla meets clients where they are while fostering meaningful, lasting change.
