She values authenticity, empathy, and connection, while also taking a direct, honest approach that gently challenges clients and encourages accountability as an essential part of growth and healing. Kayla specializes in working with eating disorders—including anorexia, orthorexia, bulimia, and binge eating—as well as body dysmorphia and body image concerns, and she is passionate about helping clients build a more compassionate relationship with themselves. She also works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, supporting them in developing insight, resilience, and effective coping strategies. In addition, she supports clients navigating early adulthood transitions, personality disorders, and experiences of domestic violence. Using a client-centered and evidence-informed approach, Kayla meets clients where they are while fostering meaningful, lasting change. She uses a strengths-based approach to help build self-esteem and a sense of self-worth, while working collaboratively to set goals and identify patterns. Kayla is direct and encourages accountability, balancing compassion with gentle, “tough-love” guidance. Sessions are flexible and tailored to each client, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive environment for growth and self-discovery. Why we're Different

We're committed to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care for children, adolescents and adults of all ages. Our therapists are specially trained to bring unconscious patterns into your conscious awareness. As you become aware of what was previously unconscious to you, we help you interrupt these patterns and relate to them with a sense of empowered agency. While active listening and empathy are essential, we recognize that meaningful and enduring change comes from challenging you to think and exist differently with feedback that is compassionate, honest, and actionable. One of the many things that sets us apart from most therapists is that we provide practical skills that allow you to take concrete action steps to overcome your mental health challenges and reach your goals.
