Levi Baker is a licensed specialist clinical social worker in both Kansas and Missouri. He is most passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and specializes on issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, gender identity, sexuality, and gender dysphoria. In addition, Levi has experience working with children that have developmental disabilities. He works with children and young adults ages 3 to 30.
As a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, Levi offers an understanding and empathic approach to individuals exploring gender and sexual identity. He is able to work with individuals from a diverse cultural background and identifies as Hispanic and Native American. Levi is able to understand intersectionality and the systems approach to treatment. Levi uses best practices and evidence-based treatments for individuals he works with.
Levi has years of experience working with children and young adults. Levi holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Washburn University and has completed Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (L.E.N.D) at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He has a wealth of understanding of the Autism diagnosing clinics and working with children who have the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
